Notes
Ünkuzek was a village located in what is now modern-day Turkey, within the historical region of Western Armenia. Specifically, it was situated in the Tortum District of the Erzurum Vilayet during the Ottoman Empire. The exact coordinates provided (40°31′48″ N 41°30′14″ E) place it in the northeastern part of present-day Turkey.
This village, like many others in the region, had an Armenian population that was displaced or killed during the Armenian Genocide in 1915. Today, Ünkuzek may no longer exist under that name, or it may have been renamed or repopulated with a different demographic.
