Hassan-Kalé, historically known as Hasankale, is a town located in the Erzurum Province of eastern Turkey. The town's modern name is Pasinler. The name "Hasankale" translates to "Hasan's Castle" in Turkish, with "Hasan" being a common male name and "kale" meaning "castle."
